Are you struggling with life's burdens and feel like you can't get help? Do you feel like those burdens are not things you can share with a friend? Perhaps you can't afford counseling, or maybe you think your problem isn't serious enough to pay for counseling. The Healing Place ministry was created as an answer to these problems.
Our Team
Galatians 6:2 encourages us to, "Carry each other's burdens and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." The Healing Place is a non-profit ministry which takes this verse to heart. Each of our certified counselors is called to help guide you to the true healer, Jesus Christ.
Our professional counselor, Monica A. Polonyi, MA, LPC has ten years of experience working with children, adolescents, and their families. She has successfully assisted with adolescent issues, Attention Deficit Disorder, behavior disorders and parenting issues. She has a Masters Degree in Counseling from Sam Houston State University and her professional organizations and affiliations include the Texas Counseling Association and the American Association of Christian Counselors. She desires to provide families with the tools that promote a more balanced way of life. She believes that, "by working together in a caring, non-threatening environment, we will be able to identify and work through areas of concern so that your family can live life more fully."

All of our counselors are bound by our confidentiality and ethics covenant. We are here to listen to you. In Matthew 11:28, Jesus promises that all who come to him weary and burdened, will find rest. Stop struggling with your burden. Let The Healing Place show you how to confide in Jesus Christ and listen for his wisdom. Our goal is for you to find the fruit of the spirit - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, and faithfulness - in your life.
